As Director of PerkImBa, I have designed a summer course with a complete and balanced format between training and enjoyment.
3 days in which we will share music, movement, practical, pedagogical, artistic and scenic experiences in a privileged natural environment. It will be regenerating after the long academic year.
This summer, we return to the La Plana Foundation.
You will find connection with the group, the nature, the sound and energy of PerkImBa's drums, and at the same time, connection with you, calmness and silence.
A summer course that many repeats because each time is different and with new material. A new experience that you will want to share. All within a quality and recognized training.

Synopsis
A unique course intended for those who want to experience the rhythm and movement through PerkImBa drums, enjoy classes with live musicians, connection with nature with an exceptional artistic and humanistic coexistence.
This is PerkImBa's International Summer Course, with exceptional teachers and many beautiful people from very diverse backgrounds both geographically and in artistic disciplines. It is also a meeting place for the participants of the annual "Creativity in Musical Education" course and the members of the Microscope Club.

3 days of course. 30 hours of training.
Training recognized by the Department of Education of the Generalitat de Catalunya as permanent teacher training. Certified by ADEP., Association for the Development of Multi-Artistic Events.

3 modules of rhythm and movement contents: rhythms of the earth, Latin rhythms and rhythms of Japanese repertoire.

3 days of living together with participants from other editions, with members of the Microscope Club and with professionals who have taken the Creativity in Music Education course. With all of them you can exchange and share experiences.

MODULE 1. Rhythms of the earth. Tribal dance
Rhythm, movement and nature merge.
We meet in a magical space to live the rhythm and creativity.
African rhythm repertoire with drums on the floor.
Get ready to play the drums with your hands and wake up your body.

MODULE 2. Latin rhythms
Vertical drums, we take drumsticks. We will move and dance.
We will share the essentials of the Latin rhythmic repertoire.
With these rhythms you can combine endless possibilities
and do your stagings. We will also enjoy making latin wheels.

MODULE 3. Japan rhythms, repertoire and final JAM.
You will discover our rhythmic repertoire URBAN DRUMS BCN - Tokio with the fusion of our rhythmic and body language.
We will end with a staging of the repertoire in the gazebo that will surely be unforgettable.

WORKSHOPS Creation and teaching
In the afternoons you will have 2 options to choose from
Option 1. Discover and practice the TEACHING REPERTORY of the course "Creativity in musical education". Open to everyone.
Option 2. Participate in creative processes in rhythm and movement.
We will end the afternoon with a collective proposal in the gazebo.

If you cannot attend the course, the registration will be paid if you notify us 15 days before the start of the course. Notifications are exclusively for mail. The commission to cover the return costs will be €20 in Spain and €45 abroad.
