Do you want to dance and live a journey through the History of Contemporary Dance?
Do you like to move?

With this course we propose, through practice and different challenges, to know the History of Dance.

We will meet the main choreographers of the 20th century and we will make small creations using some of their methods.

We will use the musics that they used and we will see why they used these styles and composers.


With these proposals for guided improvisation and creation, we will encourage students to take a little trip back in time!

From Germany in the late 1970s with Pina Bausch to today's young choreographers.


A course where we will learn the tools to dance and get to know the dance repertoire of the main choreographers of the 20th century.

A set of challenges designed for Artistic Baccalaureate students but also of great interest to experience creative dance.

​Teachers of dance, theater, music and teachers of the Baccalaureate of Performing Arts and also of great interest to people with artistic sensitivity.



You will have access to the videos and all the course materials for 6 months.

Laura Dorna

Dancer, teacher, PerkImBa Cia artist

My training revolves around different dance schools in Barcelona and Berlin. I have a Higher Degree in Dance Pedagogy from the Higher Conservatory of Dance of the Institut del Teatre. 

I have worked with different companies such as Nats Nus or Dominich Borucki. I have been a member of PerkImBa since 2011. 
Currently I am part of projects around creation and improvisation. I am a teacher of Bachelor of Performing Arts and BA in History from the UB. 

Part-time mother and interested in creation processes, interdisciplinary projects and above all, especially ... Improvisation and instant composition.

My profession is linked to music, dance and theater. My vision and concerns in the field of pedagogy are always interdisciplinary.


I am graduated in piano, percussion and pedagogy at the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Barcelona.

Graduated in Dalcroze Rhythmic from the Jaques-Dalcroze Institute in Geneva, Switzerland.

For more than 20 years I have been a music teacher at the CSD Dance and ESAD Theater Higher Schools of the Institut del Teatre de Barcelona, ​​specialized in Dalcroze Rhythm in Performing Arts.


In 2009 I created, together with Thierry Hochstätter, the world of PerkImBa, a project that continues to grow with each project we carry out.


I teach courses for teacher training both at home and abroad. What interests me most is giving tools to teachers so that they grow as teachers.


Multi-instrumentalist, I link the world of interpretation and improvisation.

What I am passionate about is working as a team, directing projects with members of the PerkImBa Company and developing creativity through rhythm and movement.
We do with what we are and with what we have.
